In light of recent local and national events, we want to share what’s happening at NVUSD and in our schools, in terms of preventing, reporting and responding to bullying or hazing. Along with our entire community, we deeply value our children, and take their safety and well-being very seriously. For too many of our young people, bullying and/or hazing have been part of their lives, whether at school, at home or somewhere else.

Everyone who participates will receive an invitation to a popcorn party at your school in the fall. At the party we will draw names for special prizes.

Each time you check out an ebook through the NVUSD Overdrive account, your name will be entered into a drawing to win prizes.

On Tuesday May 16th Snow Elementary will have the first of 2 parent classes dedicated to healthy cooking. The class will teach parents about nutrition while also showing them to cook delicious plates. We will provide all the ingredients so all you'll need is a healthy appetite!

Hello Snow Families,

We will be offering a class for parents titled “Raising Highly Capable Children” beginning on Friday, April 28th at 8:15 am in room 32. The class focuses on the supports and developmental fundamentals that children need to be able to be successful in their endeavors. We hope to see you there and all families are welcome


Starting on Wednesday April 19th we will begin a class to inform parents about better reading habits for our students. The class will be from 8:30 - 10:00 am in room 32. We encourage our parents of younger children to attend as reading is the fundamental basis of their academic careAttach Fileer.
