How important is it for every student in Napa Valley Unified to attend school everyday? Students achieve learning success when they are in class with their teachers. Aside from the critical need to be present for continuity of day-to-day learning, NVUSD only receives money from Sacramento based on days students actually attend. If a student is absent for any reason - even if the absence is "excused" through illness - NVUSD does not receive any money for those days.
